  • If you cannot come to a rehearsal (or if you'll be late), please let Judy Beckman know why you can't be there.  You can email her up until about 1:00pm on Thursdays.  After that time, please call her on her cellphone at 541-645-0172.   Her cell phone is on whenever she is away from home.  THANKS!
  • Again, singing is a team sport.
  • Everyone's help is needed for the clean-up at the end of the evening.
  • Before you leave the rehearsal room, please take a minute at the door to stop and think: "Do I have everything with me?"
and please.....

Caravan of Love                                April 9, 2020
During this time of isolation due to Covid-19, chorus members still wanted  to show their love for Judy Beckman whose husband, Lance, had passed away a week earlier.  They formed a long caravan of love with all of their cars and circled the driveway several times.  Judy and Lance's two sons stood on the front deck. Angie, wrote that "Judy called me with a tear in her voice. She said this was one of the most special things that has been done for her in her life. She said how happy and impressed Lance would have been and how much he would have loved this."  Thank you to all of you for showing up for Judy and Lance.

SINGER'S TEA
This is a great tea to make when you're not feeling just up to par. Its a soothing tea that warms the throat, cuts mucus and stimulates circulation.

1 Fresh ginger root
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/3 cup honey
juice from 1 fresh lemon
1 6-oz can of apple juice concentrate
Chop ginger root in 1/3 inch slice rounds (about 8 to 10 inches of the root). Place in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Add cayenne pepper, honey, lemon juice and appla juice concentrate.
Ginger root can be stored in your freezer until the next time you need it.
Good health to you!
